The Parish Council has been working with a representative of Transport Made Simple Group who now run KonetBuses to try and get some improvements to services and to pass on some concerns from residents.

We can now let you know that some time early in 2026 there will be some additional evening and Sunday services on the 76 bus route. The exact timetable is not available yet but this should happen within the next few months.

We also rasied the issue of the Number 2 bus being very unreliable and this has been looked at and we have received the following information:

'It looks like the issues mainly started through September when the schools went back as punctuality fell to 50-60% from around 80%. In the last few weeks there has been an upward trend to over 70% and we are working to increase this percentage'.

Hopefully for residents this is good news and is the start of a closer relationship between the Council, residents and Transport Made Simple Group.
