Extension of Closure of Footpath 3 and 4 in Weeley

The Essex County Council (Footpath 3 & Footpath 4. Weeley)

(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024

 

Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As amended), has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 24 August 2025

 

Effect of the order:To temporarily close Footpath 3, and Footpath 4 Weeley in the District of Tendring As below

 

Footpath Number

Description

Footpath 3, Weeley

From a point 56 metres north of Footpath 5, north then east for approximately 348 metres.

Footpath 4, Weeley

From its junction with Footpath 5 north west for approximately 125 metres

 

The alternative routes for both closures will be signed on site and marked by Heras fencing.

 

The Order came into effect on 24 August 2024 and is required for the safety of the public while construction works are completed.
