Weeley celebrated the 80th VE Day Commemoration on Monday 5th May 2025 with a large event at Weeley Recreation Ground. This included Wartime songs, a display of Classic Cars, a Dog Show, the Presenting and raising of the flag and various other activities.

Weeley Parish Council will be raising a flag at the newly installed flagpole situated by Weeley Reed Pond to celebrate St. George's Day. We do hope to fly a flag on special event days and occasions and we also hope that all residents will appreciate this new addition to the village.
Weeley Parish Council will be hosting the Annual Parish Meeting in Weeley Village Hall immediately following their Monthly Council Meeting at 7.30pm on Tuesday 22nd April. All members of the Parish and the press are welcome to attend if they so wish. Their will be drinks and nibbles after the meeting for anyone who attends.
