Careline Stakeholder Letter consultation begins
Dear Sir/Madam,
On Friday, 26 July, the Cabinet agreed to go out to consultation on various options for the future of Careline; including the currently preferred option that we cease our Careline service.
Careline has been operating since 1987; when it began it was almost unique, but we are now one of a number of providers of such services. As a local council we are not best placed to compete in this marketplace, and our research shows the fees we would need to charge to maintain the service are above those charged by many others.
The consultation on the future of Careline is now live, and you are invited to take part. You can take part in the stakeholder survey, which is available here: https://forms.office.com/e/ar5dqybTcf.
Included with this communication is a A4 poster for you to display on your noticeboard, which encourages residents to provide their feedback on the proposals.
Responses must be received by us no later than Monday, 30 September, 2024 to enable them to be considered as part of this process.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of this matter.
Yours sincerely
Anastasia Simpson
